Description of restaurant:
It's a buffet ... casual and fantastic. They advertise that they are the best buffet in Tunica. I haven't tried all the buffets in Tunica to verify that they are correct, but I'd believe 'em. Definitely recommend this place.
What I ordered:
One of everything ... it's a buffet. Saturday night had lobster claws, plenty of shrimp, salad offerings are not bad, always have a "home cookin' station" with stuff I can eat on it, plenty of veggies, and a guy who'll make pasta for you & another that'll make a sundae for you. Good selection of deserts, but somewhat deficient in chocolate. They do have a chocolate fountain, though. A few trips ago, I thought their bread pudding was about the best I had ever tasted. This time I thought it was only average.
Environment/Staff:
Waitress was extremely nice. Restaurant is very clean. Friendly atmosphere.
Price:
Not completely cheap ... dinner is about $16 but goes to $22 on Friday and $19 on Saturday. $15 for Sunday brunch. I think lunch is around $12 and breakfast is about $9. But the reason they get a rating of "You Rock!" is because I have never once paid any of these prices. Just ask for a comp from the poker room before you leave. They'll ALWAYS give you a comp as long as you play a few hours ... love that about this place.
Additional Information and Links:
Get a comp for the poker room before you leave. Tell them which meal you want it for (if it's not obvious) and they'll make it out in the right amount. If you've played there a lot, they'll give you a comp for two with no hassle.
