Las Vegas, NV
(702) 791 7111 casino or (702) 791 7291 poker room; 3400 Las Vegas Boulevard South 89109
Date of last visit: 4 May 2007
Overall rating: You Rock!
Comps rating: You Could Suck Worse.
Description of room:
Lots of tables, good range of action, comfortable atmosphere. It is, however, slightly louder than most poker rooms due to it's arrangement within the casino.
Description of comps:
Play for about four hours and ask the manager for a comp. Since I didn't make it to four hours, I didn't ask for a comp so I'll have to let you know how easy and worthwhile it is next time I go back.
Games offered:
The lowest stakes are 3-6 Hold'em and 1-2 No Limit Hold'em. They've also got a 2-5 No Limit game, some Omaha, and higher limit offerings. Overall, I thought the range of games was pretty good.
Poker Room Rate:
Never stayed here, mainly because "the two words I like are cheap and peppy" (yeah, name that quote). I've been told, though, that weeknights you'll pay $109 with 6 hours of play and $149 on Friday and Saturday with 8 hours of play. "Eighteen hours and what do I get? Another day older and deeper in debt ..."
Safety:
Not a completely creepy garage ... it's do-able.
